It was such a pleasure and honor to be there, to see all of the special touches they worked so hard on that made it such a charming affair. They picked a fantastic venue (The Loft in Astoria, OR), right on the river and just next to the Megler bridge (which still terrifies me, but oh well…). The forecast called for heavy rain all weekend, and I had even picked up two umbrellas in preparation prior to heading out to the coast. Fortunately they weren’t needed: we had great sunshine all day and were treated to a gorgeous sunset.
