Oh goodness, this portrait session nearly did me in. Could there be a sweeter baby? Gemma is such a darling little girl, and it was so much fun to photograph her and her gorgeous parents. We managed to find a suitable break in the rain long enough to run over to a nearby park for some lawn images, and then spent the rest of the time in Gemma’s sweet little nursery room. And I’ll admit it…I’m insanely jealous of their Eames rocker, a piece of furniture I’ve been coveting for awhile now. What a great prop!

I love these two! Tricia has been doing my hair for about a year and a half (go see her at Blu a Salon…she rocks), and I was so excited when she and Kendon got engaged, and so excited when she asked me to do an engagement shoot. They’re such a sweet couple and even though we had to work quickly to avoid the rain (ahh Portland in March. Glorious!), I had a great time.
