K+M::Sneak Peak: Rehearsal Dinner

Prior to last Thursday night, I’d never had the chance to meet Kalisa and Mitch in person. Living in Minneapolis, we handled everything over the phone and email for their destination wedding on Mt. Hood. I can’t say enough how excited I was to work with these two. They put on a beautiful and stylish wedding full of love and laughter. While I keep cracking on all of the photos from their wedding day, here’s a sneak peak from the night before at their rehearsal dinner at an amazing home in Hood River, OR.

Lately I really have been feeling like I have the best job in the world, and this shoot was a perfect example. I get to hang out with great people, coo over ridiculously cute babies, and just capture all that love on camera. I’ve known Viktoria and Justin for a couple years now, and am just so thrilled for them and three month-old baby Genevieve.





Colleen + Tim: Engaged

When we started talking about locations for Colleen and Tim’s engagement shoot, Colleen mentioned from the beginning that they’d love to incorporate Tim’s motorcycle. I thought that was a great idea and suggested we head up to Council Crest Park in Portland, with a gorgeous, commanding view of the city and Mt. Hood. Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite as clear and sunny as we were hoping for, but I think the view is still quite lovely. Colleen and Tim are getting married next week in Oregon City – congratulations!!
