Smile!

Who doesn’t groan a little inside when being told that?

I promise not to be that person on your wedding day.  Chances are,
you won’t need me to be telling you to smile. I’m going to be there
to capture all of those crazy emotions as they happen, not trying to
orchestrate what you should be feeling. Same goes for portrait sessions.
My job is to make you look like you. Maybe a spiffed-up, less-grumpy
version, but still, you know, you.

Who am I?

I love things to be pretty, interesting, whimsical. I’m drawn to these
things, and compelled to capture them on camera. I remember poring
over my parents’ wedding album as a child, so fascinated by their
experience (and the ruffled tuxedo shirts). I love being a part of something
your kids will love to look at someday. With that bit of 1974 inspiration in
mind, I use a combination of digital and medium format film (I adore my
Hasselblad) to capture the wedding day, ensuring a unique and timeless look.
