I’m going to be incorporating some medium format work into my wedding repertoire, and was hoping to try out a few things. We set out for Hoyt Arboretum, which, aside from being a gorgeous setting, truly does make you feel as if you’re in the middle of nowhere, even if you can occasionally hear the Burnside traffic just a mile or so away.
I have to say that when I got the film scans back yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised at how little processing I had to do in Photoshop. Yes, it has been that long since I’ve had a film work-flow, but I think I’ll be using it more and more as a supplement to the digital work. It definitely made me remember what I love about photography in the first place.
